Many Filipinos were shocked by the news about Chito Miranda's alleged sex video with her girlfriend Neri Naig, a kapamilya celebrity -- after it was leaked and became viral last August 3, 2013. Chito on the other hand admitted that it was them and he apologized for what happened.
Despite many arguments and negative comments, majority of Chito Miranda's fan still supports him. That's how Parokya ni Edgar influenced us through good music. And that quality music which has bcome a part of our childhood reminds us what life is. That's how Chito and the rest of the Parokya band got the respect.
"It's not a sex scandal." said one of his supporters "It involves two person that shows their affection and love through sex.. They will not do such things if they dont want it and if they do not love each other.. Scandals are filmed sex by persons who just want lust without love." she added.
Sometimes in life we will make some mistakes that will destroy us mentally, emotionally and spiritually. But those mistakes can be our stepping stone, our motivation and inspiration to become a better person -- just like what Chito Miranda did. He stands up, face the problem, apologize for the mistakes and moved on. Yes he's famous -- but he's just human like us. He's not perfect so let's not judge him just because of the video that we saw.
